In the first episode of this well-produced, well-written, well-directed, and well-acted Mexican drama El Porvenir, Joaquin and Luis end up stranded in El Porvenir, where a terrifying monster resides. It does not end well. Thus begins this series focusing on the inhabitants of this town who are in a constant race to stay alive. El Porvenir premiered in 2011 and dropped its last episode August 18th. Watch the whole season below.
