Love comics and the American labor system? Generic Girl has a little fun with both. In this campy superhero comedy, ordinary blondie Gillian Romero and her newly superhero’d roommate Pete Kirby must fight the battle of Good and Evil against a motley crew of old-school villains, as Pete tries to earn his way into the superhero’s union and help pay his half of the rent. Incorporating comics, classic superhero antics, superhero score, and a little dirty humor, this series satirizes the superhero genre through some incompetent and unlikely heroes, heroines and henchmen.
