Waaaaaah. For AMC fans, the online version of All My Children may look a bit different. According to Deadline, La Lucci has not accepted Prospect Park’s (reportedly generous) offer to continue Erica’s reign on the digital version of All My Kiddies.
Now I don’t claim to know any of the contractual info on this, but my question is: does AMC still retain its value without La Lucci? I am a Tad and Dixie “holic” as they say, so Lucci’s absence while missed would not affect my willingness to watch. What would affect it would be subscription costs… and of course how well it’s produced.
On the OLTL front, Erica Slezak and Kassie de Paiva are two of the ladies tentatively “signed” so far for digital OLTL. Neat. They’re fabulous.
So, what’s a dealbreaker for you? Will you still watch AMC without Erica Kane?

I do not watch All my Children just for Erica Kane! I certainly will continue to watch the online version. She isn’t the “whole show” even if SHE thinks she is!
I am so with you…Erica has not been the whole show in a longtime actually was enjoying her vacations and trips lately…mind you been watching the show since birth with my mom…39yrs of the 41yrs (my mom all 41yrs)…but AMC can survive without her even online…can’t wait because this last week is killing me…3 months of the “CHEW” is going to make me not watch daytime TV.
