This spoof of Paranormal Activity is an improvised comedy from Private Portions, a sketch group out of Chicago’s Second City. The series centers on Richie and Relle, a couple whose relationship hits some complications when unemployed Richie spends his severance pay on surveillance equipment in order to record the paranormal activity that he believes is occurring in their apartment. Instead, he ends up documenting their ABnormal friends and neighbors. Equipped with only a season outline written by the sketch group, the actors then hit the scene and go. Shenanigans ensue.
