Jane Espenson, known for her writing/producing gigs on all things Whedon, is again taking to the web with the upcoming comedy Husbands, a contemporary look at gay newlyweds. Heehee, I guess leaving the seat up won’t be a problem?
The show stars Cheeks (of website WeYuMe and YouTube channel GoCheeksGo) and Sean Hemeon as a newlywed gay couple and is set to begin airing in September. But if you hit up their website, Jane is blogging throughout rehearsal and production… because she’s neat like that. This is not Jane’s first foray into web series but it is her first independent foray. Further proof that we do cool things in indie web tv.
