2011 Pride Web Series Marathon

Happy Pride! And in honor of the legalization of gay marriage (finally!) by the wise state of New York, DCTV has put together a yummy playlist of some of the web series highlights from the LBGT community this year! So take a moment and celebrate with some views! And let us know what we missed with a comment!

LEZ RENOVATE (Do-it-yourself)

The quirky homemade show focuses on the home repairs of Vancouver couple LL and Cool J. Not only will you learn some great DIY tips, you’ll also get a good laugh from this adorable couple. In this episode, the gals uninstall their troublesome dishwasher.

ORANGE JUICE IN BISHOP’S GARDEN (Drama)

This retro teen show looks at high school angst in the pre-cell phone 90s. When Sarah found herself falling for bad girl Gwen, she wasn’t sure if she was ready to come out. In this episode from Season 4, a more comfortable Sarah takes some time to really get to know Gwen. Moment of truth time.

THEN WE GOT HELP (Comedy)

In this relationship comedy, creator Julie Ann Emery has explored all sorts of couples and their problems — straight, gay, bisexual, swingers. One of the mainstays of the group is Dan and Eric, a couple who is blissfully in love. In Season 2, the boys mutually decided to adopt a baby, but the naked truth about how they really feel about parenthood comes out during this game of strip poker/truth or dare.

SEEKING SIMONE (Comedy)

Seeking Simone returned for a Season 2 in April with Simone still trying to find a partner. In this episode, she recounts an incredibly awkward encounter with a writer from her show.

JACK IN A BOX (Comedy)

Jack has a date. His girlfriends try to give him advice. Turns out girls flirt differently with guys than guys flirt with guys. Check out this hilarious episode from this award winning show from Michael Cyril Creighton.

IN BETWEEN MEN (Drama)

This drama directed by Jennifer Gelfer takes a look at four gorgeous gay and bisexual men in New York City as they navigate their professional and personal lives without being defined by their sexuality.

LEZ BE PROUD (Reality)

This reality series released last month and takes a look at lesbian couples living in the Bible Belt, focusing on their love stories. Take a look at the teaser, then head HERE to watch the full episode.

ANYONE BUT ME (Drama)

And lastly, after 4 episodes of separation for Vivian and Aster after the girls kissed other gals, the Season 3 finale of mega hit Anyone But Me finally gets Vivian and Aster in a room. Watch what happens.
