So, we’re four episodes into Season 3 of this addicting coming of age drama, and never more prevalent was this conflict between maturity and immaturity– the desire to be older, freer.
The girls are on the cusp of adulthood and both Sophie and Aster have found themselves attracted to someone older, desperately wishing they were older, often play-acting they were older, whereas Vivian is trying to figure out how to go back in time to the blissful high of teenage love and uncomplicated childhood friendships.
Sometimes you have an old soul but not an old driver’s license, and you can’t avoid the reality of your life. Will the girls find a balance between their budding maturity and their own immaturity?
Check out the latest ABM. A post-pregnancy Liza Weil makes another appearance as Aster’s wise therapist.
