The numerical series comes from the mind of Shriekfest Award winner L.C. Cruell and was shot for $390. (It would’ve been so much weirder if it was $331.) 31 comes out of Atlanta and intends to hook online audiences with digital ADD and a curiosity for the demented. Calling each episode “a transmission,” 31 gives one the experience of accidentally hooking into a digital security feed and seeing something that one should not see, like a woman screaming bloody murder in absolute blackness. Who is filming? Why is she trapped? What should you do? You know you’re curious.
