Inspired by an article written by Indiana mom Patricia Titus, Jacob’s Turn is an inspiring documentary short depicting a mother’s decision to get her four year old son on a local baseball team. The mitigating issue: Jacob has Down Syndrome. In the 10-minute video, Patricia Titus shares her own maternal doubts and fears, as well as her surprise at how well Jacob could step up to the plate and deliver. The documentary was released online with a mission to raise awareness for the potential of children with Down Syndrome, and in turn, the potential of any child with special needs and special gifts. On top of it, Jacob is just plain adorable.
