Out With Dad is a family-friendly drama which follows a 15 year old girl and her relationship with her father as she begins to come out as a lesbian. Rose is a shy, smart, ordinary, well-adjusted suburban teen, who is beginning to explore her sexuality, including an attraction to her female best friend. But like most teens, she isn’t comfortable sharing these feelings with her dad. And like most dads, Nathan, a single parent, isn’t cool with his daughter keeping anything from him, certainly if it has to do with sex. Out with Dad is a relatable drama about the father-daughter relationship which takes a very realistic and irresistibly sweet look at the process of coming out that is appropriate for teens and even tweens (if you’re ok with a little kissing.)

This show has had a real impact on me. It is definitely worth checking out even if you came out long ago.
