Known for her signature awkward comedy, Emmy winning comedian Liz Feldman’s online show, This Just Out, is back. A clear play on the phrase “coming out,” the show went into hiatus in 2009. Its latest episode was launched on National Coming Out Day and and made necessary humor out of the difficult act of coming out, while at the same time, having guests share stories about coming out experiences and how each made it through. “Coming out is not the easiest thing to do, but then when you do it, it’s awesome ’cause it’s their problem!” With all the heaviness attributed to being “out” right now, in this climate of continued inexcusable bullying, it’s also really important to see that one can have fun with the subject! After all, in my opinion, life is the best written comedy.
The first new show also featured a hilarious interview with The Real L Word’s “really hot” Tracy Ryerson, plus Liz’s hilarious take on current events. Liz Feldman won four Emmys for writing/producing a little show called The Ellen Degeneres Show. She’s also been a correspondent for The Jay Leno Show. So come out to watch This Just Out! (Oh marone, Liz would write such a better pun!!!)
