Ryan Michelle Bathe (NBC’s Trauma and the upcoming George Segal TV series Retired at 35) stars as Celeste Bright, an investment banker who bails out clients with a less-than-appealing financial history by slapping them with high interest loans, a practice which has landed her in a heap of trouble with the government. She has no idea who or what she got herself mixed up with until a sympathetic FBI agent (Eddie Goines) shows up and questions her about her shady clientele. A crime drama in the vein of Damages about a good woman who ends up over her head in a world of bad, the episodes are very short– short enough that you can watch all nine (thusfar) in a half hour, which I suggest you do, considering the Season Finale is approaching, and you will want to get caught up, TRUST ME.
