Developed in 2008 specifically for the YouTube community, The Hayley Project is an interactive web series which starred Rachel Risen as Hayley Winters, a college sophomore determined to prove that her best friend’s suicide was in fact a homicide. A mixture of vlog, flashback and live-action, the series had Hayley inviting the fans to help her solve the mystery. A hybrid of Veronica Mars and Lonely Girl 15, teen investigator Hayley Winters is feisty, quirky, and determined to solve the crime.
