Let’s journey 100 Years after the apocalypse where those left behind neither age nor die. They are stuck on an Earth where no children remain and all sources of power cease to work. That is until survivors, Episcopalian priest, Steven (Joel Bryant), and ex-prostitute Michelle (producer Taryn O’Neill) believe Steven may have seen a little boy.
Launching in 2008 and garnering a bunch of award nominations, the show pairs with its sister series, Before Judgment, which looks at the days before the Rapture through found footage, providing clues as to why these people did not make the Exodus. Religious overtones, accuracy and opinions aside, the show is very effective in its creepy cinematography and strong performances, and producers Taryn O’Neill and Stephanie Thorpe have gone on to becoming two of the most active and important women in web series.
