Created by writer/filmmaker/producer Nelson George (BET’s American Gangster, HBO’s Life Support with Queen Latifah) Left Unsaid is a series about a social networking experiment told through 19 interactions at a facebook party in Fort Greene.

The premise is this: newly divorced and lonely Marisol (Norrisol Ferrari) sends a facebook invitation to a large group of diverse women she found online but has never met requesting they attend a party at her Brooklyn apartment. Who would go? Well, that’s the point of the show.

Relationships, kids, sex, race all come up in the random interactions between the guests in a series of seemingly disjointed two-person scenes. There’s Belinda (Belinda Becker), a dance instructor with a sexually curious tween daughter; Bethlehem (Tigist Selam), a celebrity blogger with a big tween fanbase; Keisha (Charissa Woodall) and Asia (Precious’s Chyna Lane), Brooklyn-born-and-raised roommates with an obsession for rappers and a dislike for gentrification; Faith (Ashley Avis), a lovelorn website designer who has banned herself from men; Ruby (Sherrybaby’s Bridget Barkan), a bisexual singer/songwriter who is afraid of commitment; and Megan (Donna Maria), a Londonite who is new to the area. As the women introduce themselves, their character’s facebook profiles flash across the screen, furthering the idea that we are voyeurs and these are real women in some social networking experiment.
