If you were somehow to combine Glee with Carrie with Grease with Election, you might get something close to resembling the hilarious satirical take on the high school musical, Private High Musical. As virginal Sandra finds out on her first day at Private High, “Welcome to our Senior Class. You’ll never have a problem getting any ass,” it’s clear this aint High School Musical, kids. It’s raunchy, politically incorrect, and totally inappropriate, and will have you laughing at your laptops. This version of “Sandy” (played by creator and super-digital chick, Taryn Southern) is greeted with pearls of ladies lavatory juvenile wisdom to her first period: “Life’s a bitch. That’s just the way it is. You’ve got to do your thing and just not give a sh*t” which is matched by the male locker room opus “There’s a herpie on my d#ck.”
Ahem, yeah, this show is, like, SOOO NOT intended for teenagers!!! But it is intended for the now-grown-up Saved By the Bell audience, and even treats audiences to Mr. Belding as the morally-devoid homeroom teacher. Produced in late 2008, the show was picked up almost immediately by MTV in 2009. Creator and star Taryn Southern made CNN’s Most Influential Viral Videos of the Year list in 2008 and has gone on to a mega-successful career in all media.
Hey, you forgot to list Angie Cole and Craig Frank (Compulsions, We Break Hearts) in the cast – who also appear together in The Crew, Craig and the Werewolf, and A Good Knight’s Quest.
